At A Brief Stand Still

as of right now musically... i am in a current situation where i am being asked to create a "buzz" for myself as an artist... and this is a term used in the music biz where they feel that a certain local or regional awareness/hype for an artist determines ones ability to sell records... and i guess thats true to a certain point in regards to the theory of "supply-and-demand"... but understand that there are artist that are on major record labels... who have an over whelming "buzz" and that doesnt necessarily equate to eminem/drake type of record sales... but as for me... i feel that i am a Totally different type of entity... but nothing greater than the next rapper.. where i know this and many others know this, including some record executives... and so this understanding alone leaves me very much reluctant to create a "buzz" as that will only reveal where my true "fanbase" is located (and if you thought the janitor music was it... that was simply the bread before dinner) and this will lead to other artist/companies to try and capitalize off of it before i even have a chance... and as an independent artist the resources are very much limited compared to the capabilities of a major corporation... so that is why i initially approached records labels about a record deal, before i began the buzz process... and that was to 1). capitalize substantially on a trend from the ground up, as a TEAM.. long before other companies or artist even get a chance... and 2). i wanted to approach as many executives as possible, so as to find and align myself with like-minded "visionaries" who can see what is "obvious" with out it needing to be based on the buzz formula by already having a understanding of what the public wants... but i guess thats not the case here in this present day and age... but trust when i tell you that i can see future trends that would literally resurrect hip-hop for "everyone" rappers/companies and the fans but i need to be compensated accordingly... humbly speaking... so that leaves me at a "stand still" so i ask that you be patient with certain delays... and plus i still owe GOD a few albums so im recording some gospel music right now... i will let yaw know...
